Apartment sales in Turkey increased by 124%

The sales of apartments in Turkey have begun to return to their pre-Coronavirus record levels, according to a report prepared by the Indexa real estate platform on the prices of apartments in Turkey during April 2021.

The annual increase in the prices of apartments during one year from the end of April 2021 was 31.7%.

Huge increase!

The price increase was accompanied by a very large increase in the sales of apartments in Turkey during April of 2021, reaching 124.1% compared to sales in the same month of 2020.

Mugla ranked first

In the context of the previous report, the state of Mugla ranked first among the Turkish states that witnessed the largest increase in the prices of apartments in it.

The annual rate of increase in the prices of apartments in Mugla during the year as of the end of April this year was 62.9%.

As for the average price per square meter in Mugla, it reached 7,771, which means that the average price of a residential apartment in it reached 897,000 TL.

Aydin ranked second

In second place came the state of Aydin, where the annual increase in the prices of apartments during the year from the end of April 2021 was 55.5%.

The average price per square meter in Aydin reached 4,169 TL, which means that the average price of a residential apartment in it reached 513,940 TL.

Antalya ranked third

Antalya; the capital of tourism in Turkey, ranked third among the Turkish states that witnessed the largest increase in the price of its apartments within one year from the end of April 2021.

The rate of increase in the prices of residential apartments in Antalya during the mentioned period amounted to 48.8%, and the average price per square meter reached 3,829 TL, and the average price of the apartment amounted to 435,125 TL.

Istanbul witnesses an average rate

As for Istanbul, which leads the Turkish states in real estate sales, the annual rate of increase in the prices of apartments in it during the year from the end of April reached 23.4%.

Where the average price per square meter in Istanbul apartments reached 4,546 TL, and the average price of the apartment was 520,296 TL.
