Huge increase in house rents across Turkey

Follow through Imtilak Real Estate the size of the huge increase in renting homes in Turkey in general, according to some reports issued by real estate platforms.

An overview of home rents in the major five cities

According to a report prepared by the Endeksa real estate platform, house rents in the major Turkish states have witnessed a significant increase during the past three years, and this increase reached its climax during the last year due to the repercussions of the spread of the Corona pandemic, and its effects on the real estate market throughout Turkey, especially in major cities.

In the details of the report, whose figures included the five largest states in Turkey, Istanbul ranked first in terms of the rate of increase in house rents, with an increase of 80% over the past year, and 94% during the past three years.

It was followed by Antalya, with an increase of 77% over the past year, and 227% over the past three years. Ankara came in third place with an increase of 52% over the past year and 91% over the past three years.

Zeytinburnu tops Istanbul's regions

In the details of the figures related to the rates of increase in various regions in the city of the two continents, the Zeytinburnu region ranked first in terms of the increase in apartment rents in Istanbul, which was estimated at 121% over the past year, and 176% during the past three years.

Sile came in second place, with an increased rate of 116% over the past year, and 170% in three years.

Gaziosmanpasa ranked third, with an increase of 113% over the past year, and 94% in three years.

Dikili leads the Izmir regions

In the news related to the rates of increase in house rents in the various regions of Izmir, the Dikili region ranked first in the increase in the percentage of house rents, which reached 183% over the past year, and 280% in three years.

Followed by the Seferihisar region, with an estimated increase of 160% over the past year, and 230% within three years and the Güzelbahçe region ranked third, with an increase of 148% over the past year, and 203% within three years.

İnegöl tops Bursa districts

Regarding the rates of increase in house rents in the state of Bursa, and the arrangement of the regions in it according to these recorded percentages, the Inegol region occupied the first place in the state in terms of the rate of increase in house rents, which reached 80% during the past year, and 124% within three years.

As for Mudanya, it came in second place in terms of rent rates, after recording an increase of 72% over the past year, and 92% in three years.

In third place was the Kestel region, which recorded an increase of 60% over the past year, and 117% in three years.
