With a capacity of 70,000 passengers per hour in one direction, it is expected to serve one million passengers per day when it is operational in the first months of the next year 2020.

This line will form the nerve linking eight of the most populated areas on the European side of Istanbul:

  • Besiktas
  • Şişli
  • Kağıthane
  • Eyüp
  • Gaziosmanpaşa
  • Esenler

The line will also form intersections with other lines at several different points as follows:

At the Kabatash station: it will intersect with the Kabatas - Taksim F1 railway line, as well as with the T1 Eminonu - Kabatas tramway line.

At Mecediakoy station: It will intersect with the Yenikapi – Haciosman metro line.

At Kara Deniz Mahallesi Station: will intersect with the Topkapi - Sultanciftligi T4 Tramway line.

At Mahmutbey: will intersect with the M3 Kirazli-Basaksehir Metro line.
