Real estate sales in Turkey have seen a major upturn in the number of real estate sales, during August of this year 2020, after recording historical figures, following up on the details of this news on Imtilak Real Estates’s page.
Real estate sales in Turkey exceed 300,000 properties
The Turkish real estate sector and real estate sales in Turkey have seen a marked recovery, following a slight recession, due to restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, some of which have been described as historical, particularly in apartment sales.
Apartment sales in Turkey have seen significant movement after interest rates were reduced, for residential bank loans, contributing to higher sales, at rates above double.
The month of August of this year saw a marked growth in real estate sales in Turkey, with 303,000 and 986 properties sold this month, with 1 million, 277,000 and 613 properties sold in the first eight months of 2020.
Sales in these numbers amounted to 320 billion, 169 million, 180,000 and 757 Turkish lira, and during the sales, the title deeds paid amounted to 11 billion, 637 million, 571,000 and 919 Turkish lira.
Istanbul ranks first in real estate sales in Turkey
In a statement about real estate sales figures in Turkey in general, Mr. Mustafa Hakan Ozil Macekli said: "Istanbul has achieved the first rank in real estate sales in Turkey in general, in the first eight months of 2020".
He followed “Sales in these months included all kinds of real estate in Istanbul, where the number of properties sold in Istanbul was 248 thousand and 403 properties followed by Ankara at 150 thousand and 377 properties, Izmir at 97 thousand and 248, Antalya at 68 thousand and 411 properties, and Bursa at 66 thousand and 236 properties.
