After a several-month hiatus due to the spread of the new strain of the Coronavirus in Britain and Denmark, Turkish Airlines announced the resumption of flights from the latter two countries to Turkey.

In a social media post, the Director General of Turkish Airlines, Bilal Akcı, reported: The arrival of passengers from Britain and Denmark to Turkey will be opened on condition that a negative PCR test result, no later than 72 hours, is obtained.

In that connection, he invited those wishing to travel from the mentioned countries to Turkey to follow up on the dates of the flights to be announced by the Turkish lines.

Turkey has reportedly suspended flights from Britain, the Netherlands, Denmark and South Africa since 20 December to prevent the transmission of the new strain of the Coronavirus to the country.
