Rise in the Apartment Prices In Istanbul Index by 13.34%
The Central Bank of Turkey (CBK) announced the price index for March of 2017.

The statistics show an increase in the price index of apartments during the month of March compared to the past month by 1.12 percent, to 233.74 points. There was an increase of 13.34% compared to March of 2016.

The statistics indicate that the price per square meter in March 2017 was calculated to 1000 and 965 Turkish liras, while in February of the same year it was one thousand and 943 Turkish liras.

The bank pointed out that the prices of new apartments for the month of March increased by 1.32 percent compared to the past month, and reached to 224.23 points. It was found that price indices of new apartments have increased by 12.67 percent compared to the same month last year.

The index clarified the price indices of new apartments used as they increased by 0.75 percent in March compared to the same month of last year and reached to 231.98 points, as also it was found that the price indices of new apartments used increased by 13.60 percent compared to the same month of last year.

The price per square meter of apartment prices in major cities was calculated at 3000 and 687 Turkish liras per square meter in Istanbul, and 1000 and 630 Turkish liras per square meter in Ankara, and 2000 and 341 Turkish liras per square meter in Izmir.
