Senior advisor to the support and encourage agency for investment attached to the prime ministry, "Mustafa Kokso" confirmed that the number of Saudi companies registered in Turkey has risen to 940, recording an increase of 33 companies since the beginning of 2017.
He added in an interview with the Saudi newspaper "economic", that the rising number of Saudi companies in Turkey, indicate a Saudi investment’s growth in Turkey.
The official noted that the law of ownership right to invest in Turkey in 2011, contributed to the rising number of Saudi companies from 11 companies in 2011, to 907 the end of 2016, continuing to rise during the current year 2017, adding that Saudi investments in Turkey are growing in several fields, and expanding into new fields.
According to recent economic reports, Saudi Arabia occupies 12th among the countries investing in Turkey.
