Transportation’s Prices on the Holidays Will Fall to 50% and Some Cities Free of Charge

Istanbul and Izmir Municipalities announced this year's campaign for transportation and reduction of their fees on all public transports by 50% during Eid Al Fiter holiday which starts at 6 am on the 25th of June until 12 in the middle of the 27th night of the same month.

For his part, the mayor of the Turkish capital Ankara announced that the public transports will be free of charge during the blessed days of the Eid. He said that the municipality took this step to facilitate visiting relatives and holidays during the Eid.

These applications are one of the most popular in Turkey. For most holidays, Turkish municipalities make transportation free for citizens, so as to give them with the opportunity to visit each other during Eid and to have fun.
