Turkish Airspace Is Crowded with 195 Million Passengers in One Year!

Airline users are 195 million passengers in Turkey in 2017, and Turkey's Ministry of Transport, Maritime, and Telecommunications expects the number to reach 200 million in 2018.

The ministry said it will not increase the value of service tax applied to airline tickets, given that the prices of these cards are in euros.  

Turkish Transport, Maritime and Communications Minister Ahmed Arslan said the Turkish government is moving ahead with new airports in many Turkish cities that do not have airports. The work at Istanbul Third airport is continuing at full speed pace and will become the biggest airport in Turkey upon completion, moreover, the first aircraft will land in the airport in February 2018.

The Turkish government is currently working on projects to launch new satellites during 2020 and 2021, Turkey plans to set up a satellite manufacturing plant, which will be included in the list of the ten countries operating in this area globally, and will be manufacturing the first satellite homemade TÜRKSAT 6A.

The establishment of the Turkish Space Agency is underway and will carry out activities and projects similar to those of other global agencies such as NASA.
