The first eight months of this year 2022 witnessed 2,137,670 real estate sales in Turkey, of which 24,480,235,785 TL were obtained as fees for title deeds.

According to data issued on Tuesday 6/9/2022 by the General Directorate of Land Registry and Real Estate Survey of the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change, 311,428 real estate sales were concluded in August 2022, from which 3,461,209,600 TL were obtained as fees for title deeds.
According to data provided by the Turkish Land Registry Directorate, the rate of real estate sales in Turkey in August 2022 increased by 40% compared to July 2022, which witnessed the sale of only 222,578 properties.
The data indicated that the properties sold during the first eight months of 2022 were 917,458 deals for housing, 371,358 for residential lands, 593,521 for fields, and 97,599 for workplaces.
Istanbul is in the lead
In terms of Turkey's most selling real estate cities during the first eight months of 2022, Istanbul topped the list with 272,574 deals, then Ankara with 142,522, Izmir with 114,132, Antalya with 85,992, and Bursa with 80,273 and Konya with 66 thousand and 299, and Koca to me with 57 thousand and 961, and finally Balikesir came with 57,229 deals.
