The Turkish economy grew by 7.4% during the third quarter of 2021

Data issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority (TÜİK) indicated that the Turkish economy achieved a growth rate of 7.4% during the third quarter of this year 2021.

According to data related to the annual growth of GDP sectors in Turkey during the third quarter of this year, the professional and administrative activities and support services sector achieved annual progress of 25.4%, while the information and communication sector achieved annual progress of 22.6%. The annual growth rate of the services sector reached 20.7%, while the industrial sector achieved annual growth of 10%, the growth rate in the public administration, education, health, and social services sector reached 8.3%, and the real estate sector and related events achieved annual growth of 4.7%.

The estimated volume of the domestic product is progressing by 35.5%

Data issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority showed that the estimated volume of GDP in Turkey during the third quarter of this year reached one trillion and 915 billion and 467 million TL, an increase of 35.5% compared to its volume in the same period last year. The value of this output, in dollars, according to current prices: 225 billion and 497 million dollars.

Household consumption expenditures in Turkey increase by 9.1%

Regarding household consumption expenditures in Turkey, household consumer expenditures witnessed an increase of 9.1% during the third quarter of this year compared to its size in the same period last year, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Authority.

While the state's consumer expenditures in the third quarter of this year witnessed an increase of 9.6% compared to the size of these expenses in the third quarter of last year.

Exports of goods and services increased by 25.6%

According to the data of the Turkish Statistics Authority, exports of goods and services in Turkey during the third quarter of this year witnessed a growth of 25.6%, compared to their volume during the same period last year, and this was accompanied by a decline in the value of imports of goods and services by 8.3% compared to their volume during the same period from last year.

Labor payments see an increase of 36.3%

Labor payments in Turkey achieved a remarkable growth during the third quarter of this year, as the rate of increase in the volume of these payments amounted to 36.3% compared to their volume in the third quarter of last year.

Concurrently, the net rate of operating surplus and mixed income achieved during the third quarter of this year an increase of 38.6% compared to its volume in the third quarter of last year.
