Turkey Will Be the 12th Largest Economy in the World in 2030

The findings of a study conducted by the company "PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)", which is one of the largest services professional companies in the world has showed that the Turkish economy will be in the twelfth ranked as the largest economy in the world by the year 2030, in return of GDP that may rise to 2.996 trillion dollars.

The study built on the latest economic data pointed that the world economic balances will be changed in the coming years, where the economic power will move towards developing economies in the long term.

According to the study, titled "long look: how the global economic system will be changed by 2050," it is expected that the following economics "China - India - Brazil - Mexico - Russia - Indonesia - Turkey" will dominate on the list of the 10 largest economies in the world by 2050.

The study predicted that the total gross domestic product in Turkey will reach about 2.996 trillion dollars by the year 2030, beating Italy (2.541 trillion dollars), South Korea (2.651 trillion US dollars), while the study showed an optimistic Turkish GDP would reach more than 5 trillion dollars, by 2050.

Turkey occupies currently the 18th largest economy in the world, with a GDP of about 736.716 billion dollars, while aiming to reach the tenth largest economy by the year 2023.
