American investors buy more than 1,400 properties in Turkey during 2021

Real estate in Turkey has become an attraction point for American investors, as official statistics indicate an increase in the number of real estate investments by American businessmen in Turkey.

Real estate sales to Americans increased by 115.2% in 2021

The number of real estate investments made by American investors in Turkey in 2021 increased by 115.2% compared to the previous year, and according to data issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority, the number of Americans who bought real estate in Turkey last year reached 1,416 properties.

In addition, real estate sales in Turkey to foreigners increased by 43.5% last year, reaching 58,576 properties.

In this context, Omer Faruk Iqbal, head of the Association for Real Estate Promotion Abroad, said in a statement to Anadolu Agency that foreigners prefer buying real estate in Turkey for many purposes, such as tourism, investment, treatment, and education. At the same time, he indicated that Americans have recently increased significantly in buying real estate in Turkey.
