Turkey and the UAE sign 9 agreements in various fields

Following talks between President Tayyip Erdogan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates signed agreements for billions of dollars in investments, including in technology and energy, on Wednesday.

Turkey and the UAE sign 9 agreements in various fields

Follow the most important agreements signed between Turkey and the UAE via Imtilak Real Estate, following the visit to Turkey of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his accompanying delegation, as well as his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the bilateral meeting that brought together Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the presidential palace in Ankara on the one hand, and through bilateral meetings that took place at the level of delegations between the two sides, on the other hand, a set of agreements were signed Between the two countries, in the fields of energy, environment, finance, trade and investment in Turkey, and other fields.

The signing of 9 agreements between Turkey and the UAE in different sectors

The nine agreements that were signed between the Turkish and Emirati parties at the presidential palace in Ankara through the following points:

  1. The Head of the Financial Crimes Investigation Board at the Turkish Ministry of Treasury and Finance Khairuddin Kurt, and the Head of the Financial Information Unit at the Central Bank of the UAE, Ali Faisal Ba'alawi, signed a memorandum of understanding on the exchange of financial information in the context of combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
  2. The CEO of the Turkish Sovereign Fund, Arda Armut, signed with the CEO of Abu Dhabi Port Company Mohammed Al-Shamsi a memorandum of understanding between the Turkish and Emirati institutions.
  3. The signing of a memorandum of understanding between the CEO of the Turkish Sovereign Fund Arda Armut, the CEO of the UAE Fund and, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company Mohammed Hassan Al-Suwaidi.
  4. A memorandum of understanding for cooperation was signed between Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company and the Presidential Investment Authority in Turkey. It was signed on the Emirati side by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Development Holding Company, Mohammed Hassan Al-Suwaidi, and from the Turkish side, the President of the Presidential Investment Authority Ahmed Burak Daglioglu.
  5. A memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Abu Dhabi stock exchange and the Istanbul stock exchange was signed by Saeed Al Dhaheri, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul stock exchange, Arisha Arican.

  6. A memorandum of understanding was signed by the President of the Central Bank of Turkey, Shehab Kavcioglu, and the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, on cooperation between the Central Bank of Turkey and its UAE counterpart.
  7. An administrative cooperation and partnership agreement in customs affairs between Turkey and the UAE was signed by the Turkish Minister of Trade, Mehmet Muş, and Ali Muhammad Hammad Al Shamsi, head of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security in the UAE.
  8. In the field of energy, a memorandum of understanding on energy cooperation between the two countries was signed by the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Fatih Donmez and the UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Bin Mohammed Al-Mazrouei.
  9. A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of environment between Turkey and the UAE was signed by the Turkish Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum, and the UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environment, Maryam bint Mohammed Al Muhairi.
