According to data issued by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the number of apartments sold to foreigners during April 2024 was 1,272 apartments.

The percentage of sales to foreigners during April 2024 was 1.7% of the total general sales of apartments in Turkey, while the total number of apartments sold to foreigners during the first four months was 6,957 apartments.

Antalya tops the Turkish states with the highest sales to foreigners

In the details of the data, Antalya ranked first among the Turkish states with the highest sales of apartments to foreigners during April 2024, with 454 apartments sold.

Istanbul ranked second with 407 apartments sold, and Mersin ranked third with 149 apartments sold.

Russians top the list of nationalities purchasing the most

Regarding the ranking of foreign nationalities according to their purchases of apartments in Turkey, Russians ranked first as the foreign nationality purchasing the most apartments in Turkey during April 2024, with 293 apartments purchased. They were followed by Iranians in second place, with 117 apartments purchased, and Ukrainians in third place, with 91 apartments purchased.
