During 2022 | 3 million real estate transactions in Turkey!

Turkey witnessed around 3 million real estate sales transactions since the beginning of 2022, generating more than 35 billion lira (1.877 billion USD) in state revenue from the fees of these transactions.

Large numbers over 11 months:

According to information obtained by Anadolu Agency from officials at the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre, affiliated with the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, 2,997,668 real estate sales transactions have been completed in Turkey from the beginning of 2022 until November.

Among these transactions, 1,254,545 residential apartments, 518,089 land plots, 862,438 agricultural lands, and 135,782 commercial properties were sold, while the rest were other types of real estate.

The highest number of transactions was in Istanbul:

Istanbul real estate topped the Turkish provinces in the number of transactions with 361,492, followed by Ankara real estate with 187,425, and then Izmir real estate with 150,423 transactions.

According to the mentioned information, the Turkish state treasury earned about 35,144,100,467 lira from the title deed fees of these properties.
