More than 3,000 apartments sold to foreigners during the eighth month of 2023

Official authorities in Turkey announced an increase in the percentage of apartment sales to foreigners in Turkey during August of this year. The number of apartments sold to foreigners exceeded 3,000 across Turkey during this period. Follow the details with us through Imtilak Real Estate:

Apartment sales to foreigners achieve a 9% increase in the eighth month of 2023

According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the number of apartments sold to foreigners during the eighth month of this year reached 3,058 apartments, achieving an increase of 9.175% compared to apartment sales to foreigners in Turkey during the seventh month of this year.

The percentage of sales to foreigners during August of this year accounted for 2.5% of the total apartment sales in Turkey overall. As for sales to foreigners during the first eight months of this year, they reached 25,134 apartments.

Istanbul leads the Turkish provinces in apartment sales to foreigners

According to the data, Istanbul ranked first among Turkish provinces in apartment sales to foreigners during August 2023, with 1,066 apartments sold. Antalya ranked second with 919 apartments sold, and Mersin ranked third with 248 apartments sold.

Russians top the list of nationalities buying the most

Regarding the ranking of foreign nationalities by their purchases of apartments in Turkey, Russians ranked first as the top foreign nationality buying apartments in Turkey during August 2023, with 733 apartments purchased. Iranians ranked second with 342 apartments, and Iraqis ranked third with 220 apartments. The purchase figures for the top twenty nationalities were as follows:
