During the groundbreaking ceremony for urban transformation projects held in the Gaziosmanpaşa area of Istanbul, and with the aim of raising the standard of living and ensuring citizens' well-being, as well as achieving a real estate renaissance that attracts the attention of the world, the Turkish president announced an urban transformation campaign in Istanbul funded 50% by the Turkish government.

The Turkish president explained that the government has renovated 3.3 million homes and built 1.2 million homes through the TOKİ Housing Authority in recent years, noting the necessity of accelerating the urban transformation process, providing financial support from the state for those wishing to own property, and increasing rental support to 5,250 Turkish lira per month within the scope of the urban transformation project.
