About one million properties sold in Turkey in the first 5 months of 2021

According to data from the General Directorate of Land Registry and Real Estate Survey, real estate sales in Turkey during the first five months of this year amounted to 980,630 properties.

The value of the income resulting from the title deed expenses of these sales reached 6 billion and 609 million and 787,337 TL.

A remarkable increase in sales for the month of May

In the same context, real estate sales in Turkey during the month of May alone amounted to 129,018 properties.

While the income generated from the title deed expenses of these sales amounted to 909 million and 39,157 TL.

Istanbul is the most Turkish state selling real estate

In the details of real estate sales figures in Turkey, Istanbul ranked first among the most Turkish states selling real estate during the first five months of 2021.

The number of Istanbul properties sold during the first five months reached 124,596 properties.

Followed by the capital, Ankara, came in second place, with 66,307 properties during the mentioned period.

While Izmir ranked third, with 47,474 properties. The first six ranks in real estate sales in Turkey during the month of May were as follows:

Residential apartments most selling properties

In the classification of real estate sales in Turkey according to the type of property in the data of the General Directorate of Land Registry, apartments were ranked first.

The number of apartments sold during the first five months reached 403,851 apartments.

Then agricultural lands came in second place. The number of agricultural lands sold during the first five months of this year reached 279,238 agricultural lands.

Construction lands came in third place, as their sales during the first five months amounted to 178,056 building lands.

While commercial properties ranked fourth, reaching 45,466 commercial properties during the first five months of 2021.
