Turkish Statistical Institute: 2,535 apartments sold to foreigners in October 2023

Government institutions have announced some statistics on apartment sales to foreigners in Turkey during October and the first ten months of 2023. Turkey sells 2,535 apartments to foreigners in the tenth month of 2023

According to data issued by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the number of apartments sold to foreigners during the ninth month of this year reached 2,535 units.

The percentage of sales to foreigners during October of this year amounted to 2.7% of the total general apartment sales throughout Turkey.

As for apartment sales to foreigners in Turkey during the first ten months of this year, they reached 30,599 apartments.

Antalya tops Turkish provinces in sales to foreigners

According to the details of the data, Antalya ranked first among Turkish provinces in apartment sales to foreigners during October 2023, with 931 apartments sold.
Istanbul came in second place with 758 apartments sold, and Mersin ranked third with 294 apartments sold.

Russians top the list of nationalities with the most purchases

Regarding the ranking of foreign nationalities according to their purchases of apartments in Turkey, Russians ranked first as the foreign nationality that bought the most apartments in Turkey during October 2023, with 713 apartments purchased. They were followed by Iranians in second place with 235 apartments, and Germans in third place with 152 apartments. The purchase numbers for the top twenty nationalities were as follows:
