Apartment sales to foreigners during the sixth month of 2023

According to data issued by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the number of residential apartments sold to foreigners during the sixth month of this year reached 2,625 apartments. The percentage of sales to foreigners during June of this year amounted to 3.1% of the total general sales of residential apartments throughout Turkey.

As for apartment sales to foreigners during the first six months of this year, they reached 19,275 residential apartments.

Antalya tops the Turkish provinces with the highest sales to foreigners

In the details of the data; the province of Antalya ranked first among the Turkish provinces with the highest sales of residential apartments to foreigners during June 2023, with 1,004 apartments sold.
Istanbul came in second place with 760 apartments sold, and Mersin ranked third with 223 apartments sold.

Russians top the list of most buying nationalities

Regarding the classification of foreign nationalities according to their purchases of residential apartments in Turkey; Russians ranked first among the most foreign nationalities buying residential apartments in Turkey during June 2023, with 733 apartments purchased. They were followed in second place by Iranians with 333 apartments purchased, and Iraqis ranked third with 175 apartments purchased.
