More than 2,000 apartments sold to foreigners in the first month of this year

According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the number of residential apartments sold to foreigners during January of this year reached 2,061 apartments. The share of foreign sales during January of this year was 2.6% of the total overall sales of residential apartments in Turkey.

Antalya tops the Turkish provinces with the most sales to foreigners

In the details of the data, Antalya ranked first among Turkish provinces in terms of residential apartment sales to foreigners during January 2024, with 747 apartments sold. Istanbul ranked second with 710 apartments sold, and Mersin ranked third with 211 apartments sold.

Russians top the list of most-buying nationalities

Regarding the ranking of foreign nationalities according to their purchases of residential apartments in Turkey, Russians ranked first as the top foreign nationality buying residential apartments in Turkey during January 2024, with 555 apartments purchased. They were followed by Iranians in second place with 208 apartments purchased, and Ukrainians in third place with 127 apartments purchased.
