Learn about apartment sales in Turkey for February 2024

According to data issued by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the number of residential apartments sold to foreigners during February of this year reached 1,846 apartments.

The percentage of sales to foreigners during February of this year was 2% of the total general sales of residential apartments across Turkey, while the total number of apartments sold to foreigners during the first two months of this year reached 3,907 apartments.

Istanbul tops the Turkish provinces with the highest sales to foreigners

In detail, Istanbul ranked first among Turkish provinces in terms of residential apartment sales to foreigners during February 2024, with 691 apartments sold. Antalya came in second with 659 apartments sold, and Mersin ranked third with 151 apartments sold.

Russians top the list of most-buying nationalities

Regarding the ranking of foreign nationalities according to their purchases of residential apartments in Turkey, Russians ranked first as the most foreign nationality buying residential apartments in Turkey during February 2024, with 395 apartments purchased. They were followed by Iranians in second place with 200 apartments purchased, and Iraqis in third place with 112 apartments purchased.
