A big movement for the construction sector

In a comment to Mr. Gürkem Ogut, General Manager of the Endeksa platform, on the figures contained in the Istanbul real estate stock report, he said:

"The construction of apartments has experienced some decline, especially in 2017, due to high construction costs, but the construction sector has become active in the following years, although costs have continued to rise to peak during the first months of this year, 2021."

Mr. Ogut continued: "The number of building permits granted during the first three months of this year 2021 increased by 105.6% compared to the number of building permits in the same period last year 2020."
