More than 550,000 apartments were sold in Turkey during the first half of 2021

In apartment sales during the first half of this year, more than 550,000 apartments were sold in various Turkish states, while Istanbul accounted for the largest proportion of real estate sales in Turkey.

According to information obtained by Anadolu Agency from the Turkish Statistics Authority, the number of real estate sales in Turkey amounted to 552,810 properties during the first half of this year.

In the order of the Turkish states, which achieved the largest number of real estate sales during the first half of this year in Turkey, the largest share of real estate sales was in Istanbul, which accounted for 20% of the overall real estate sales rate.

According to details of the figures, sales of real estate in Istanbul during the said period amounted to 108,51 properties, equivalent to one-fifth of real estate sold in Turkey.

The Turkish capital Ankara was second, selling 53,575 properties, and Izmir was third, selling 31,683 properties during the first half of this 2021 year.
