Apartment sales to foreigners in Turkey increased by 64%

Sales of apartments to foreigners during the month of July of 2021 registered 4,495 apartments, according to statistics issued by the Turkish Statistical Authority Tüik.

Therefore, the sales of apartments to foreigners achieved significant progress by 64% compared to the percentage of sales of apartments to foreigners in Turkey for the month of July of the last year 2020.

Apartments sales to foreigners register a high record

As for the sales of apartments to foreigners in Turkey during the first seven months of this year 2021, it amounted to 24,983 apartments.

Thus, the sales of apartments in Turkey to foreigners for the first seven months of 2021 recorded remarkable progress, with an increase of 46.9% over the sales of apartments to foreigners during the same period last year 2020.

Istanbul is at the forefront of the Turkish states

In the details of the figures issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority:

Istanbul came first among the Turkish states selling apartments to foreigners during the month of July 2021, with 1951 apartments.

Antalya came in second place with the sale of 931 apartments, then the capital Ankara came in third place with the sale of 312 apartments.

Iraqis rank first

In the classification of foreign nationalities according to purchases of apartments in Turkey during the month of July 2021:

Iraqis ranked first among the most foreign nationalities buying apartments from Turkey during the mentioned period.

Iraqis bought 712 apartments, followed by second-ranked Iranians with 619 apartments.

While the Russians came in third place with the purchase of 365 apartments during July 2021.
