Osmangazi district is located in the center of Bursa city on the slopes of the famous Uludag Mountain. The district is a meeting point for all suburbs of Bursa and is the largest suburb in the city in terms of population. The district is named after Prince Osman Gazi, the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The area, which covers more than 1,165 square kilometers, rises about 150 meters above sea level and enjoys the mild climate of the Marmara region, with an average temperature of 14.4°C.
