Home sales to foreigners in Turkey record the highest monthly sales for 2021

According to data issued by the Turkish Statistical Authority TÜİK, sales of apartments to foreigners in Turkey during August 2021 amounted to 5,866 apartments.

Therefore, apartment sales to foreigners in Turkey achieved the highest monthly sales for this year 2021, an increase of 50.7% over the sales of the same month last year 2020.

An increase of 47.6% in the first eight months

The data of the Turkish Statistics Authority showed that the total sales of homes in Turkey on Tuesday 19/9/2021 during last August amounted to 141,400.

The sales of apartments to foreigners in Turkey during the first eight months of this year 2021 amounted to 30,849 apartments, an increase of 47.6% compared to sales for the same period last year 2020.

Istanbul is in the lead

In the details of apartment sales for foreigners in Turkey, Istanbul came first among the Turkish states that sold apartments to foreigners during August 2021, with 2729 apartments sold.

Antalya came in second place with 976 apartments sold, while the capital, Ankara, ranked third with 400 apartments sold to foreigners during August 2021.

Iranians buy the most

In the classification of apartment sales to foreigners in Turkey according to the foreign nationalities who buy the most, according to data issued by the Turkish Statistical Authority.

Iranians ranked first among foreign nationalities in buying apartments in Turkey during August 2021, with the purchase of 911 apartments.

Followed by Iraqis came in second place with the purchase of 900 apartments, while the Russians came in third place with the purchase of 451 apartments.
