Sales of apartments to foreigners in Turkey amounted to more than 20,000 during the first half of 2021, while sales of apartments to foreigners in Turkey during the month of June alone made progress of 185.3%.

Record sales to foreigners in the first half of 2021
According to data issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority (TÜİK), foreigners’ sales of apartments in Turkey in general during the first six months of this year amounted to 20,488 apartments, achieving an increase of 43.7%, compared to sales for the same period last year 2020.
In June, sales of foreigners achieved an increase of 185.3%, with 4,748 apartments sold.
Istanbul leads as the best real estate destination for foreigners
In the context of the same statistics, Istanbul ranked first among the Turkish states that sold apartments to foreigners, during the first six months of this year.
Antalya ranks second in sales of apartments
Turkey's tourism capital, Antalya, ranked second as Turkey's second most-selling apartments for foreigners, during the first six months of this year.
The sales of apartments in Antalya during the mentioned period amounted to 3,990 apartments, and Antalya has achieved the progress of this sale by 47.3% compared to sales of apartments to foreigners in the same period last year.
The Turkish capital, Ankara, comes in third place in sales
The Turkish capital, Ankara has the third place in apartment sales to foreigners, during the first half of this year, where the number of apartment sales to foreigners during the mentioned period amounted to 1,276 apartments, achieving an increase of 32.4%, compared to sales for the same period of the last year.

Iranians are at the forefront of foreign nationalities
In the classification of foreigners' purchases of apartments during the first six months of this year according to foreign nationalities, Iranians ranked first among the most foreign nationalities buying apartments in Turkey, as the value of Iranian purchases during the mentioned period was estimated at 3,070 apartments.
Followed by Iraqis, whose purchases during the first six months of this year amounted to 3,019 apartments, and the Russians ranked third among the most foreign nationalities buying apartments in Turkey, with the purchase of 1,759 apartments, during the first six months from this year.
