Some official real estate agencies in Turkey have stated that construction costs in Turkey have witnessed an annual increase of 107% compared to last year, check the rest of the details through Imtilak Real Estate company.
Construction costs in Turkey rise by 107%
According to statistics related to the construction costs index issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority, the
construction costs index in Turkey during the sixth month of this year witnessed an increase of 3.47%, compared to its value in May of the current year 2022.
While the increase in the construction cost index in Turkey amounted to 106.87% compared to its value in June of the last year 2021.
All associated indices have seen an increase in value
In the details of the indicators related to the construction costs index, the statistical figures issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority recorded an increase in the value of these indicators.
The construction materials index witnessed a rise of 4.16% during June of this year compared to its value during the previous month, and an increase of 130.59% compared to its value in June of last year.
As for the employment index during June of this year, it witnessed an increase of 0.72%, compared to its value during the previous month, and a value of 45.67% compared to its value during the same month last year.
The construction work index increased by 101.79%
With regard to the construction work, the statistical figures issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority recorded progress in the building construction work index by 2.58% per month, and by 101.79% over the year before June of this year.
As for the building materials index, it witnessed a monthly increase of 3.08%, and the increase in this indicator reached 142.22% the year before June of this year.
The monthly increase in the employment index related to building construction was 0.68%, and the annual increase was 45.38% during the year before June of this year.
The increase in the other construction works index amounted to 124.27%
As for the construction works index other than those of building construction, it witnessed a monthly increase of 6.31% during June of this year, and the annual increase in this indicator amounted to 124.27% during the year preceding June 2022.
The construction materials index related to the mentioned index also witnessed a monthly increase of 7.51% and an annual increase of 151.73%.
As for the employment index related to construction work other than the construction of buildings, it witnessed a monthly increase of 0.86%, and the annual increase in this indicator reached 46.77% during the year before June of this year.
