Turkey sold 3,350 apartments to foreigners in February 2023

According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, the number of residential apartments sold to foreigners during the second month of this year reached 3,350 units.

The proportion of foreign sales during February of this year was 4.2% of the total general sales of residential apartments throughout Turkey.

As for foreign sales during the first two months of this year, they reached 7,511 residential apartments.

Antalya tops the Turkish provinces with the most sales to foreigners 

In the details of the data, Antalya ranked first among Turkish provinces in terms of residential apartment sales to foreigners during February 2023, with 1,261 apartments sold.
Istanbul came in second place with 1,133 apartments sold, and Mersin ranked third with 255 apartments sold.

Russians top the list of nationalities buying the most

Regarding the ranking of foreign nationalities according to their purchases of residential apartments in Turkey, Russians ranked first as the most foreign nationality buying residential apartments in Turkey during February 2023, purchasing 1,183 residential apartments, followed by Iranians in second place with 446 apartments, and Iraqis in third place with 173 apartments.
