The real estate market in Turkiye, especially in recent years, witnessed a great demand, manifested in record numbers of real estate sales, both internally and externally, accompanied by a steady rise that reached its peak during the current year 2022, which recorded a rise in real estate prices by rates exceeding 200% in some areas!
Several statistical reports have monitored price changes in the most important Turkish states and regions, the most recent of which was a report prepared by the Endeksa Real Estate Studies platform, in which the regions of the Turkish states ranked first in the rise in the prices of their apartments during a whole year until August 2022.
With 220% Sariyer, Istanbul is the first in Turkiye!
According to the statistical data contained in the mentioned Endeksa platform report, the Sariyer district in Istanbul ranked first among the regions of the Turkish states that witnessed the highest increase in the prices of their apartments during the year prior to August 2022.
The annual increase in the prices of apartments in the Sariyer area reached 220%, and the price of a square meter of housing in this area amounted to 63,045 TL, and the average price of an apartment in it reached 9,075,312 TL.
Besiktas, Istanbul comes second:
The Besiktas region of Istanbul came in second place among the regions of Turkiye that witnessed the highest increase in the prices of its apartments. The rate of increase in the prices of apartments in Besiktas reached 217% during the past year until August 2022.
The average price per square meter in Besiktas reached 61,503 TL, while the average price of a residential apartment in the region was 9 million 2,868 TL.
Cesme, Izmir ranks third
The third place among the regions of Turkiye with the highest investment value, which witnessed the largest increase in apartment prices, was occupied by Cesme, Izmir, where the annual increase in the prices of apartments in this region amounted to 147%, during a year prior to August 2022.
The average price per square meter in Gesma reached 45,247 TL, and the average apartment price was 7 million, 684,340 TL.
