Residential apartment sales to foreigners made a historic figure last November

The sales of apartments to foreigners during November of this year amounted to 7,363 apartments, achieving the highest monthly sales figure during the current year and the past three years, and an increase of 48.4% over the sales of apartments to foreigners during the same month last year.
According to official data issued by the Turkish Statistics Authority, sales of foreigners during November of this year accounted for 4.1% of the general sales of apartments throughout Turkey, as sales of apartments to foreigners during the eleven months of this year amounted to 50,735 apartments with an increase of 39.4% over sales for the same period last year.
In the details related to the sales of apartments to foreigners during November 2021, the state of Istanbul ranked first among the most selling Turkish states with the sale of 2,922 apartments, followed by the state of Antalya with the sale of 1,917 apartments while, the Turkish capital, Ankara ranked third with 428 apartments sold.
The statistical data also showed that the state of Istanbul also ranked first among the Turkish states selling apartments to foreigners during the past eleven months, with the sale of 23,169 apartments, followed by the state of Antalya with the sale of 10,557 apartments, and the state of Ankara in third place, with 3183 apartments sold.

In the classification of foreign nationalities who purchased the most apartments in Turkey during November of this year, Iranians ranked first with the purchase of 1,406 apartments, achieving an increase of 11.14% compared to the purchases of the previous month.
Iraqis came in second place by purchasing 1,075 apartments during September 2021, achieving an increase of 16% compared to their purchases in the previous month.
The Russians ranked third among the most foreign nationalities buying apartments in Turkey during September with 836 apartments, achieving remarkable progress of 53.9% compared to their purchases in the previous month.
