According to the data published by the Endeksa.com platform, which specializes in digital data for the Turkish real estate market, the real estate stock of residential apartments in January 2020 across Turkey exceeded 900,000 apartments. Istanbul had the largest share, with more than 260,000 apartments, followed by Ankara, then Antalya, then Izmir, and then Bursa.

Here are the details of these numbers related to the most important statistics about the Turkish real estate market:
How many living rooms are in the apartment?
The real estate stock of residential apartments in Turkey's 81 provinces amounted to 904,052 apartments.
- The largest share was for the province of Istanbul with 260,903 apartments.
- Followed by Ankara with 130,003 apartments.
- Then Izmir with 76,044 apartments.
The lowest share was in the province of Hakkari with 35 apartments.

The Most Expensive and Cheapest Apartments in Turkey
According to the details of the "Endeksa" platform report, the average price per square meter in Turkey apartments was 2,231 Turkish lira.

The Turkish province of Mugla recorded the highest average price per square meter, where the average price was 4,446 Turkish lira.
The lowest prices were in: Hakkari at 917 Turkish lira per square meter, Agri at 976 Turkish lira per square meter, and Mardin at 1,003 Turkish lira per square meter.

Real Estate Marketing in Turkey - Difficulty by City
The report data published by the "Endeksa" platform also included information about the marketing period for a single property in the Turkish real estate market in all provinces. Mugla ranked first in terms of the longest marketing period for a single property at 94 days, followed by the provinces of Giresun and Karabuk in second place with 91 days, and the provinces of Rize, Trabzon, Kastamonu, and Duzce ranked third with 90 days for marketing a single residential property.
